For the last three weeks, Keith Dobermann, the Tennessee Citizen Action consumer watchdog, has announced two contenders for “The Worst Legislation in Tennessee!“
Week #1 brought us the “Kill Old People Cheap” Act.
For week #2 it was “The Beagle Madoff with all my Money and All I Got was this Lousy TShirt” bill.
And for week #3 he unveiled the “Selenium, You’re Soaking in it!” bill.
This week, Keith is watchdoggin’ our elections. Is the “Recount, Schmecount” bill the Worst Legislation in Tennessee?
Watch Keith’s Announcement:
“While the rest of the country was sprinting away from the kind of crappy touch screen electronic voting machines we STILL use to vote on in 93 out of 95 counties in Tennessee – our state legislature decided that a previously passed bill that would have tossed out these machines with yesterday’s kibble by the 2010 election was no longer a good idea.” Watch the rest…
Don’t forget, at the end of 5 weeks, you can vote for your choice of the worst of the worst.* The winner will be announced at our “The Worst Legislation in Tennessee!” event at the LeQuire Gallery the night of October 21.
