As you are aware, TNCA belongs to a coalition of 19 patient and provider groups in Tennessee that support the Reliable Coverage Act (HB 960/SB 991), a bill that would put an end to the unfair, unsafe insurance cost-saving tactic known as non-medical switching. Through non-medical switching, insurers force patients off the medications prescribed by their clinicians and onto insurer-preferred ones. Non-medical switching is especially dangerous for those with chronic health conditions, who rely on their specific medications for stability. If you’d like to learn more about non-medical switching, we recommend this quick video.

Your voice can make a difference as this legislation is facing a key vote next week.

Please take action by March 21st! These legislators need to hear from patients who want reliable, transparent insurance coverage in order for this bill to move forward. Your efforts make a big difference!

Thanks for lending your voice to protect patients in Tennessee.
