After Congress failed to repeal the Affordable Care Act last week, some are asking if Governor Bill Haslam and the Tennessee General Assembly will revisit Insure Tennessee. Insure Tennessee is Haslam’s plan to expand healthcare coverage to nearly 300,000 Tennesseans.

While states that have used the ACA to expand access to coverage like Kentucky and Arkansas have seen successes, it seems Haslam needs a bit of a push in order to revisit the issue.

The Tennessean reports:

Although some states, including Kansas, have pushed forward on Medicaid expansion since the failed effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act, Haslam said he has not had any discussions to follow suit.

Governor Haslam needs to hear from YOU! Your voice can help push him forward on Insure Tennessee.

Contact Bill Haslam today and tell him you want to see him bring back Insure Tennessee and bring access to affordable healthcare to hundreds of thousands of Tennesseans.
