Now that the American Health Care Act (AHCA) has passed the House, it is critical that Senators Alexander and Corker hear from us on the importance of access to affordable health care.

Here are some opportunities to make your voices heard this week:

Tuesday, May 9, 12:30 p.m.
Corner of West End Ave. & Murphy Road

Nashville Indivisible has scheduled meetings with staff members for both Senators Alexander and Corker on Tuesday to discuss our opposition to repeal of the Affordable Care Act – and most especially our opposition to the reckless ACA repeal bill passed last week in the House (“TrumpCare”).

Please join our delegation for this meeting – and please also feel free to bring letters addressed to Senators Alexander and Corker to deliver at the meeting.

We will meet at the corner of West End and Murphy.

Also, be sure to call the offices of Senators Alexander and Corker:

Please call Senators Corker and Alexander.  Urge them to vote “NO” against any bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Personal phone calls are one of the best ways to send a message to elected officials.  If you can’t get through to the local district office, please call them in any of their other offices.

Let staff answering the phone know that you are a Tennessee voter and that you consider this an urgent matter.  Please also ask staff to have the Senator get back with you to explain their positions, and please be persistent!
